The Teledyne ODI Nautilus Rolling Sea Hybrid proved fundamental to one of the largest subsea projects in West Africa. Teledyne's electrical and optical interconnect hardware was selected but a safety concern was raised about potentially having live pins on an NRH flying lead lying about during site integration testing. A custom in-house designed proposal proved to be the optimal solution for this task and both the client and the end-users were happy that safety risks were minimized.
