The Teledyne Bowtech 3000m rated K Light range of 24Vdc, subsea LED floodlights offers varying brightness and power options, making them ideal for larger midwater observation and work class ROVs. The range includes 5 variants of light intensity: 1,000, 2,100, 3,200, 4,200 and 5,000 lumens.
Housed in hard anodised aluminium, the K Light has a diameter of 76mm and a length of 88.9mm (excluding connector). It is offered with a choice of connectors and wiring configurations and comes with thermal protection to help prevent the light from overheating.
The 1,000 lumens variant has been specially set up to operate both in air and water. All other variants should only be operated in water and have built-in thermal protection to prevent overheating if operated in air.
The K Light has a selection of controls, including normal ON / OFF power switching and dimming controls via
either remote analogue voltage control or ‘Remote active dimming control’ through the Teledyne Bowtech browser (supplied on a USB stick) via an RS-485 interface.
