Customers from around the globe once again converged in San Diego in early October to explore, learn and share their experience at Teledyne Marine's highly popular US users conference. In addition to a spectacular line up of speakers, demos and training sessions, this year's event also boasted a picture perfect new location, the return of many long-time customers, as well as a large field of first time attendees.
This year's highlights included:
AN AMAZING KEYNOTE SPEAKER. Once again, the always engaging and inspirational Oliver Steeds, Founder, Chief Executive and Mission Director of Nekton, graced our stage to kick-off this years TMTW with an update on his latest expedition in the Indian Ocean. Oliver detailed his mission, the challenges his team faced, and the amazing data they were able to capture and share with the world.

NEARLY FIFTY CUSTOMER PRESENTATIONS detailing their utilization of Teledyne Marine products and technologies for applications spanning ports & harbors, civil engineering, oceanography, dredging, offshore energy, hydrography and hydrology. Our users have the greatest understanding of how our products perform, and happily shared their highly valuable field experience, technical tips, and lessons learned.
A NEW LINE UP OF PRODUCT AND SOFTWARE TRAINING CLASSES were conducted by Teledyne Marine's technology experts. Topics covered our full spectrum of product offerings, ranging from introductory sessions to multi-day training tracks.
DOCKSIDE DEMONSTRATIONS focused on Teledyne Marine's vehicles, sonars, sensors, and combined system capabilities. This year's demonstrations included depictions of Teledyne's MCM, search and recovery, and port and harbor security, as well as their new M900 sonars and ropeless fishing solution to combat mammal entanglement.
ON-WATER DEMONSTRATIONS of our collective imaging technology, including Oceanscience underway rapidCAST system, and several of RESON's multibeams combined with Teledyne Optech LiDar, PDS and CARIS software to deliver a complete imaging solution above and below the waterline.
